My Values as Your Wedding Cake Designer

Creating more than just a cake ~ My most important value is to create a lavishly exclusive experience to capture the energy and essence of your special day, not just make you a wedding cake.  Think of me as your wedding dessert concierge.

Creating one-of-a-kind exceptional wedding cakes ~ My artfully modern designed cakes are created by using several different sugar mediums. I specializes in sugar flowers and textural designs.

Offering creative flavor profiles in harmonious combinations to delight your palate ~ I value creating refined cake flavors beyond the basics; many with Italian flare.

Love  Notes

"I absolutely would recommend Patty. She did an amazing job. From the first time we met her until the time she delivered the cake and cupcakes at our venue. We spoke many times between that as well. Our cake looked awesome and tasted delicious. We received many compliments on presentation and taste."

"I cannot say enough about Patty! She will make you feel at ease from the start. She is so detailed about everything. She even allowed me to ask for a little different spin on a cake ingredient and made it with no hesitation. She designed a beautiful piece of artwork. Our guests were stunned! Each little piece she hand creates."

"Patty's cakes are outstanding! Our son got married in August this year. I tried several bakery samples before I chose Patty to make our son's groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner. Her cakes tasted wonderful, but equally important to me was her creative genius in the design. People were absolutely taken aback by the fabulous design."

Flowers For Your Wedding Cakes

Weddings and flowers seem to go hand in hand. When it comes to wedding cakes, you have a variety of choices should you wish your design to include flowers. As your cake designer, not only do I create beautiful wedding cakes, I am also an award winning sugar flower artist and have recently fallen in love with making edible wafer paper flowers. Let's talk about your options.

Sugar Flowers

Sugar flowers are hand crafted and made with gumpaste, which is a sugar paste that hardens and can be rolled out very thin to make realistic looking flowers. It holds details very well which, when done professionally, makes them an uncanny resemblance of real flowers. These flowers can be kept as a keepsake after your wedding and will last a long time.

Wafer Paper Flowers

Wafer paper is an edible paper made from  potato starch. The flowers that are made from this decorating medium are very light and airy, giving them a modern beauty to cakes. These flowers will also last a very long time after your wedding for a keepsake. I will often mix sugar flowers and wafer paper flowers in floral arrangements to give more interest and depth.

A word on fresh flowers - As your cake designer, I do not place fresh flowers on cakes for safety and design purposes. To learn more, please read my blog, How To Choose What Flowers To Place on Your Wedding Cake.
