Design My Cake By Patty strives to be your one-stop-shop for all things wedding cake.  Included in your order are all of the things you need to complete your wedding cake experience, namely:  a frozen, fully prepped and sealed anniversary tier; a personalized cake topper; personalized cake knife and server set; cake flavor cards; use of a cake stand from our wide array of stands; clear and precise cutting guides for your caterer; and complete attention to detail that is unmatched in the Bucks County area.

Design My Cake By Patty takes a limited number of cakes per month because YOUR cake is the most important piece of art we are creating and we want to give your cake 200% attention, the attention it deserves.  We work closely with you to make sure each show-stopping cake is unique and reflects you and your fiance's personality and sense of style. 

Yes we do! Design My Cake By Patty requires wedding cakes to be delivered.You are investing in this edible piece of art - trust me when I say you do not want a disaster by having a friend deliver a 45 pound stacked cake. We have the experience in making sure your cake travels safely and at an optimal temperature controlled vehicle. Your cake will be delivered in a secure and insulated CakeSafe transport system to keep it protected from the elements and damage to give you complete piece of mind. Delivery is included within a 50 mile radius of Design My Cake By Patty's private cake studio in Perkasie, PA.

Your first year anniversary cake is included. The anniversary cake is a separate 6-inch buttercream covered cake, lightly decorated in your theme, flavor will be the same as one of the tiers of your wedding cake. You will receive your cake packaged, sealed and frozen in a box to place in your freezer to enjoy on your first anniversary. As this cake is frozen for one year, only simple decorations in fondant or buttercream can be applied.

No, Design My Cake By Patty does not make gluten free, dairy free or any other dietary restricted cakes. True gluten and allergy free cakes need to be made in a separate kitchen with separate utensils and equipment. We are a small custom bakery and do not have the space for a separate dietary restricted kitchen. Common food allergens may be found in our baking such as eggs, tree nuts, dairy, wheat, gluten and soy. 

Prices vary depending on size, detail, intricacy and complexity of your design. We have a minimum order of $750. If you are planning on a micro wedding for under 50 guests and desire a smaller cake, you can add a cake dummy tier or supplement your order with additional confections to meet the $750 minimum. Yes! We do offer kitchen cutting cakes as an addition to your wedding cake. It is three layers of cake with two layers of filling, and is made to match exactly with your tiered cake when cut. Your wedding guests will not notice any difference in appearance or taste between the tiered cake and the kitchen cake once they are cut and served. A kitchen cutting cake can be used to supplement cake servings while still allowing you to have a show stopping cake for your reception. Cutting cakes offer a cost savings over a tiered cake due to less decorating and stacking time.

Design My Cake By Patty does offer a luxury cake tasting box of six of our divine flavors from our menu that you have chosen. The cake tasting box will be presented to you at your design consultation for you to take home and enjoy in private. It is recommended that you bring in any pictures, invitations, etc., that may help us come up with something perfect for your incredible wedding day.  The cake tasting/design consult is $50. Should you decide to commission us for your dream wedding cake, the $50 will be applied to your final payment and the tasting is then free! Yes. A non-refundable 50% retainer as well as a signed contract is required to book your order. The balance must be paid within 30 days of the celebration. The contract establishes the terms and conditions upfront and gives both the client and our business a list of expectations and piece of mind.  If you know that you want to hire us for your wedding cake and are not ready to discuss design yet, you may place a SAVE THE DATE $500 non-refundable deposit to assure your wedding date is secured and booked. 

Since we book out months ahead, there would be no way for us to go back and get all of the customers we said no to once we accepted your deposit to backfill your spot if you decide to cancel your order. Your retainer ensures availability FOR YOU and we manage our entire production schedule based on your order once you book it.

A non-refundable retainer of 50% is due upon order placement. Balance is due in full one month prior to your event. If a cancellation is made once final payment has been made (less than 30 days out from your event), no refunds will be made. Please understand that when you book an order, we decline other orders. 

While Design My Cake By Patty has evolved into a wedding cake business; when time permits, we can accommodate orders for a custom cake such as birthday, baby shower, etc. We also offer wedding-related cakes such as bridal showers, groom cakes, anniversary cakes, bachelor and bachelorette cakes.
