Design My Cake By Patty takes limited wedding cakes each month as we are fully focused and 100% dedicated to give absolute attention to every detail of your cake. Choose from our carefully crafted flavor profiles, several with Italian inspiration, leaving the task of putting complimentary flavors together to us. Or if you have a set flavor in mind,  you are welcome to create a custom flavor.

Each fresh baked tier can be a different flavor combination at no extra charge. You get to completely customize everything about the cake. It will truly be a reflection of  YOU as a couple.

2.  Cupcakes for your vendors so you don't have to include them in your guest count to make sure they, too, are treated to amazing cake!

3.  An anniversary cake, matched to your wedding cake theme with choice of one of your wedding cake flavors, all prepped and frozen for maximum ease.  Just take it home from the venue, pop it in the freezer, and relax until your one year anniversary.

4.  Cake flavor boards for the wedding cake table to tell your guests what incredible flavors they get to eat!

5.  Personalized cake knife and serving set.

6.  Wedding cake stands available so you don't have to seek one out.

7.  Personalized birch or acrylic cake topper, which can even be customized to your monogram.

About The Cake:

​

Our scratch made, amazing cake tiers are approximately 5" tall with three layers of cake and two layers of filling. Each tier can be the same flavor or different flavors. We use the finest, high quality ingredients and chocolate, as well as locally grown and organic whenever possible. We go the extra mile using top quality ingredients because your wedding cake is as special as you are.

Custom Cake Toppers:

​

Custom toppers can be created in either birch, acrylic, or fondant, such as 3D figures. Simple birch or simple acrylic cake toppers are included at no extra charge for Design My Cake By Patty wedding cakes. For 3D fondant figurine toppers or specially designed toppers, price would vary depending upon design.

Cake Consultation/Tasting:

​

Your journey begins with submitting our contact form. One I receive this form, I check my availability for your wedding date, then I will be in touch with you for an introductory email/call and provide you with information to schedule your cake tasting and design consult; a one-hour meeting with Chef Patty, your wedding cake baker and designer. The consult starts with getting to know all about you and your plans for the big celebration. This is where we ask you to bring any items you have that could be used as design elements for your cake. This could be the invitation suite, linen samples, lace from your dress, wedding style board, etc. We will use these details to customize your cake design. We will also discuss your vision for your cake and/or other confections, discuss our process, and review pricing.

 

Then, the best part; you get to eat cake! You will receive a personalized  cake tasting box to go home with you to enjoy in private. The luxury box will have six of our wonderful flavors that you chose from our menu. The consultation/cake tasting is a non-refundable $50 fee. Should you commission us for your wedding, the $50 will be applied to the final cost of your cake order and the cake tasting is then free!

Commissioning Us:

​

While you are tasting your cake samples, I will create an annotated sketch of your cake with the design we discussed at your consult. The sketch serves as a roadmap for the design of your cake.  Within 48 hours from your consult (not including weekends or holidays), you will receive a quote and sketch of the design. If you love our flavors and design ideas we will forward you a contract to sign and an invoice for the deposit. We do require a signed contract and 50% non-refundable retainer to book your date.

 

Should you decide you want to commission us and you are not ready to decide on your cake design, you may secure your wedding date on our calendar with a $500 non-refundable deposit.

Your remaining balance, final guest count, and any changes that you would like to make (i.e. design, additional confections) is due one month prior to your event date. Changes may be subject to additional charges. From here, we will work directly with your wedding planner to work out the delivery and cake setup. You can sit back and look forward to seeing, and definitely eating, your dream cake!
